Immediate updates include Fresher Quality Ingredients, Streamlined Menu, Original Uniforms, and a Renewed Commitment to Family and Community

Clearwater, FL – November 3, 2025
Hooters Inc., “Original Hooters”, has finalized their historic acquisition of Hooters of America (HOA). Restaurant updates have begun to roll out across all locations as a first step in their ‘re-Hooterization’ of the brand and vision for the future. Following the closing of the transaction on October 31, 2025, Original Hooters along with their partners from Hoot Owl Restaurants LLC will own approximately 140 of the 198 domestic Hooters restaurants. These domestic restaurants, along with the 60 international locations, represent approximately $700 million in systemwide sales.

Since opening the first Hooters restaurant in 1983 in Clearwater, FL, Original Hooters has always been committed to delivering a uniquely fun dining experience, and remains dedicated to honoring the traditions that have created millions of Hooters fans around the world. They’re committed to bringing these same experiences and values to the 111 restaurants they are acquiring around the country. Post acquisition, Original Hooters is focused on restaurant upgrades, exceptional service, equipment enhancements, and a streamlined menu built around better, higher quality ingredients.

This simplified menu is a celebration of freshness, with the return of fan-favorite dishes including Hooters’ legendary handbreaded wing recipe and wing sauces using Grade AA butter, wild- caught fish options, fresh cut salads, ranch and bleu cheese dressings made in house daily, and more. As it has always been with Original Hooters, the restaurants will feature a renewed focus on family and community brought to life through events, local partnerships, sponsorships and initiatives that connect with the neighborhoods and locals they serve.

And of course, what has always made Hooters special are the thousands of iconic World Famous Hooters Girls. As part of the change, all server uniforms will return the original look while staying true to the brand’s original beachy vibe and heritage.

“We’re not just acquiring restaurants — we’re taking back the Hooters name to show the world who we really are,” said Neil Kiefer, CEO of Hooters Inc. “Our vision is about more than great food and service. It’s about bringing people together, making memories, and ensuring that Hooters remains a place where everyone feels welcome. We’ve done this successfully for over forty years and are beyond excited to rebuild trust one wing, customer, and one family at a time.

Can they just bring back the original large breaded wings with the flappers. Their wings used to be so good. I don’t even care of the chick is an OT4 delivering them. As long as it’s a female (with daddy issues) and they bring my wings back.

Last time I ate there, the poor waitress had a cleft lip. She pointed to my wedding ring and said, "Oh my gosh I love your ring! Where did you buy it?" in a completely innocent/earnest way. I thought it was funny because I couldn't think of a reply.

It'll be interesting to see what happens. Seems so many "regular" restaurants attract attractive women these days, so the breastaurants are less and less necessary to make bank.

Twin Peaks Baton Rouge posts a lot on their social media, and it seems like they are almost entirely staffed these days with a specific type of woman (with huge tattoos). I think the mentality is like why show my tits/arse (and stomach, if you know woman thinking) when I can make bank at WalkOns or Superior with my clothes on?

Hooters will have to offer something that other restaurants do not to get desired women in there.

Attractive girls make way more money as instagram influencers or only fans now. No need to work for a $20 tip.

Plus now they can meet a rich dude on instagram as opposed to waiting table or working at a high end country club.

Any plans to transition away from the tiny pigeon wings you currently sell back to nice full-sized chicken wings? I mean, when the damn Chinese place behind you has better (and way bigger) wings than you, something needs to be done.

Went to the one on siegen a couple weeks ago and they didn’t have spicy garlic sauce. The menu had a little box with fine print in it saying they are making menu changes. Man, I hope they don’t stop serving that sauce. Only reason I really went there was for that sauce.

I'd consider eating at Hooters if they got normal size wings back.
I can order 15 wings from Wingstop, or just about any wing restaurant, and not want to finish them b/c i'm full after 10.
I can eat 20 wings from Hooters, and could easily order 20 more and eat those too.

That is all contracted. Not sure if they will try something else. The national chicken cold storage is still low meaning the chickens do not always get the same amount of growing time. We are below 800 million pounds while.is 2022.you had about 75 million more pounds

Oh I would too. Used to love their wings but It's probably been 5 years since I walked in one.

The last time, a customer wanted to stop in for lunch.

Had the grilled chicken sandwich that took 45 minutes to get to the table. Place was half empty. Smh.
