I could not imagine walking around the store filling up 1 cart of groceries nad not have to pay for them. Much less 30 yrs of it. Damn, Im beginning to think I am the dummy.

I do feel bad for those who have lost a spouse, lost a job in the last year,etc. No sympathy for a woman living on food stamps for 30 years. And to have no shame about it,either?

Should be for a limited amount of time, and an absolute lifetime limit:
Say, 3 months at a time; no more than 18 months total over your adult life.
And I think that's kind of generous.
