Guarantee you she has cut a deal to avoid prosecution. This is always how it works and this is why our government stays corrupt!

"Stolen enough"? The day before biden's administration mandated EV's by 2030, she & her husband both purchased $500,000 in Tesla stock. A mth later they purchased a $20,000,000 mansion in Fla. for tax purposes. As leader of the House, she repeatedly prevented anti insider trading by members of Congress bills from even getting out of committee for a vote.

She gets to enjoy 5 years max in her retirement before she likely croaks. I don't get why someone that age would not retire earlier and enjoy your later years. It's not like she needs the money.

There's an alternative explanation that she knows she's in the crosshairs and is trying to bow out gracefully in the hopes that she will be overlooked by prosecution.

This has been mind boggling for me also. But then again, I see someone like Chuck Grassley who is like 196 years old and still trying to fight for the American people - I think Nacy truly believes that she is also fighting for the American people but she is too arrogant to realize that she is destroying the American people

Good for her. She will be almost 87 when her current term ends. That's the perfect retirement age.
Besides, she's earned the right to have much more spare time so both she and homo.hubby can get hammered and enjoy their remaining minutes.
PS - I have absolutely no doubt that San Franciso will elect another "winner" who will serve for decades to come.

She's fighting for her "constituents", but it would be an incorrect assumption to believe that those constituents are American citizens.
