Dislocations look way worse than they are. I’ve had a few over the years and everyone around you panics because it looks like you have a compound fracture but it usually just pops back in and you’re sore for a week or two

It's nice to be young, in shape, and limber.

After the first time isn’t it usually easier for it to happen in the future?

Yes, which sucks because it doesn’t hurt any less in my experience

Must be nice. I’ve had 5 shoulder surgeries over the years because my shoulder won’t stay in place and I’ve never had a dislocation that doesn’t involve tore ligaments….

Agreed. Hopefully he avoided the soft tissue stuff. JD5 is awesome and a great ambassador for LSU.

Looked like he dislocated it and then it popped back into place, which might have saved him from further damage.

Bigger issue is why was he playing down 31 in 4th Q and running the football, no less

X-ray won’t show but MRI will. Suspect he will be riding the tube soon (if not happened already) to confirm what is going on.

Negative for what? X-rays are good at showing bone but not tissue. Hope he heals up without any residual
