The word "democracy" is mentioned no where in the US Constitution.

The republican form of government, with its system of representation and separation of powers, was designed to protect the country from the instability of a direct democracy. This was the system the Founders ultimately established to "secure the blessings of liberty".
Democracy is wolves telling sheep what’s for dinner.
We are a Constitutional Republic

Because we aren’t a democracy.

Republics, by definition, are governments where power resides in the law. Judges only have one-third of the power of law.

Do you read the news?

Every day.
Are there shitty judges? Yes.
Have most of their shitty opinions been overturned by the Supreme Court in the last decade? Also yes.

Democracy really just means the ability to vote.
Democrat might as well mean socialist now.

So we really don't have a king?

The "losing our democracy" bullshite from the left means they are losing the unelected bureaucrat, democrat control of government. These people are such liars and losers with zero shame or self awareness.

"Justice delayed is justice denied" - so says some bright people
We have been treated to the beauty of "lawfare" for the past couple decades, especially virulent in the last 10 years.
With a few activist judges - combined with a compliant media - justice can either be turned upside down, or delayed so long as to be not worth the effort to correct.

The only reason democrats are obsessed with democracy is because the two words are close where they're trying to brand themselves as the "party of democracy". Has nothing to do with factual truth.

A true democracy is a popularity contest for modern trends.
Considering civics isn't taught any more, the majority of public and higher education institutions are filled with liberal indoctrinators, and today's average voter can't even tell you when the War of 1812 happened, I thank GOD that we are a Constitutional Republic.

But forms of vote/voting are

And a democracy.
They're not mutually exclusive.

This doesn't make any sense.
The bureaucrats represent the republic part of our government much more than the democratic part

Congress is basically non existent right now. Trump decides the taxes. Trump decides the spending. Those are the two major powers of our legislature. And he’s got them now.
