You’re kidding right.

I guess you love 9-8 seasons

The master of one or two games over 500 and a 1st round playoff loss.

If he was white, he’d be fired.

The Rooney family doesn't fire their head coaches.

The Steelers had how many coaches in their franchise history? I can only go back to Chuck Noll, Bill Cower, Tomlin. They all coached for the last 50 years. Insane

For constantly making the playoffs

90% of the franchises in the league would kill for that

And Knoll and Cowher are in the Hall of Fame. There will be a case to be made for Tomlin when he is eligible. Never had a losing season.

Tomlin is definitely a good coach. He seems like a decent man too

Yep! It's just Knoll, Cowher and Tomlin since 1969.

Is this opposite day? I could do the research and show you what actually happens between the two, but why bother.

As a Steelers fan, I'm also sick of the middle ground too, but if they ever get a true QB again, it's game on.

As an Pittsburgh Steeler and Alabama fan, I really, really hope you get him.

Only if he takes Teryl Austin with him to Baton Rouge.

Amid rumors of him taking another job a few years ago, he said he had the best coaching job in football and wasn't leaving.

Is it because of how well he recruits in Pittsburgh?

And Cowher left early imo. He was still rock solid.

Tomlin has a job for life. The Rooney's are very progressive and love the Guy
So does Pittsburgh for that matter

They aren't progressive, they are loyal to their people and apparently treat them pretty well so that no one wants to leave for " greener pastures"

Haven't spent much time in Pittsburgh, have you?

Nobody dislikes they guy on a personal level, but consensus is that it's time for a fresh start.

Your victim mentality is laughable.

18 seasons in the NFL and not a single losing season. That's why he hasn't been fired.
