After reading that someone on here said he would be a good head coach, I decided to do some research. Klein was an outstanding player at Kansas State ; he served as offensive coordinator for the Wildcats and did a great job.
Klein orchestrated one of the country’s highest scoring offenses in 2023, including a nation-leading 78.7-percent touchdown conversion rate in the red zone. His offense ranked No. 8 in third-down conversions (.494), No. 10 in scoring offense (37.8 ppg), No. 13 in rushing offense (198.7 ypg) and No. 23 in total offense (446.1 ypg), while also surpassing the 400-plus yard total in seven games, including five games of 450-plus yards.
Take him from the Aggies now. This man was also the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy.

Would be a good choice among coordinators.

Question is would he stay if the K-State job opened up in the future.

I have no idea where this coaching search will go. If we decide to take a flying leap at a coordinator for HC, Klien would not be the worst we could do.

Dietzel was just an offensive line coach when he came to LSU.

How far have we as a fan base fallen to where we’re worried about Kansas State coming in and stealing our Head Coach? It’s become embarrassing.

He's been at aggy 2 years. First year wasnt great and I dont see anything special about this years offense. Good offense.. but you dont become the LSU coach on it.

Great coach and I like him.

Only thing that bothers me is it took until our game with them last year to figure out that Marcel Reed was a better QB for their offense than Conner Weigmann.

Things may have changed a little since the 1950s

You assume that’s all on him and not Elko?

I’m not advocating for him but maybe it was him that really pushed the QB change and the HC was initially the resistant one

I believe he has an agreement in place to be the Okie State coach after the season

One report states that OKST has an agreement in place with him.

Another source claims that he will be interviewed but that it has not happened yet.

Who knows?

Check out Malzhan. He made the jump from highschool HC to SEC OC and won the West in his first season.
Won a NC, lost another one.
Currently the OC for FSU.
40 ppg
510 ypg

And we can actually land him.
