Other than 2 hires (one in which LSU baseball sells itself), this guy seems to make terrible decision after terrible decision. He is flat out horrible with money and that's what cost him in the end. And rightfully so

The real question is, if Scott lined up the buyout money and now Scott is gone, do those donors back out?

Scott didn’t go with the intention to fire Kelly on Sunday.

And do you all realize how toxic and inept Woodward thought Kelly was that he would fire him, knowing it would likely cost him his own job? The guy isn’t stupid.

But had SW gotten committment from said billionaire to fund the buyout ahead of time? Or did said billionaire step up after BK had gotten his pink slip and some panic set in around the athletic department on how to pay BK’s buyout and still have money for a new coach?

Yeah, I'm sure those donors are ecstatic about having to pay a record setting $53 MILLION buyout after having to pay a $17 MILLION buyout just a few years ago.
