Some yes. Others I don’t think are defending as much as not liking the way it went down and worried about the person getting the spot being an under qualified yes man to the political powers that be and in that regard would prefer Woodward- kind of a devil you know situation.
I guess I’m in the wait and see camp the more I think about it. Nothing I can do about it. If it was the donors who truly ousted him they’ll want the best person for the job.

But Kelly was a good hire at the time, lol. It was Woody’s job to properly investigate a coach to find out if he still has the fire and desire to coach. If the hire does not work out because Kelly basically turned into a lazy heavy drinking whore monger instead of a hard working coach it’s Scott’s fault. Kelly wasted at least the last 2 year’s of LSU’s time and money.

And some of us here can see these as two separate things. I agree woody had to go but for the governor to make an arse out of the school in the process is disgraceful.
There is no need for the fricking governor of Louisiana to be on a national media tour backtracking on what he said yesterday. His interview on Moscona should piss everyone off.
