Ngl if he’s realistic, I really really like the idea of Kenny Dillingham. At just 35, he’s already shown evidence of someone who’s able to rebuild a program. ASU was a mess before he got there and took over. I think he has the relentless, charisma, and confidence to thrive at LSU. I think he would have potential to be the fb version of Jay Johnson in terms of being a west coast guy who has the personality traits to fit at LSU. ASU is also 5-3 so waiting till playoff season is over wouldn’t be an issue with Dillingham

We will just have to sit back and wait. Because nobody has a real idea of the next coach of LSU.

Some successful coordinators would be my choice. Will Stein, Tosh Lupoi, and Glenn Schumann all come to mind

The Arizona ties are definitely strong. I will say Dillingham does have sec coaching experience already. He’s OC at Auburn in 2019, bo nix’s true freshman year so he does alredy have the experience coaching in the south. Also was at Florida state

All I'll say is that people need to dispense with the idea of a 10+ year head coach in big time college football. Those days are gone, so age isnt as important. Also, younger guys may not have the chops to negotiate the portal/NIL game that's driving CFB these days. Its a completely different landscape, which is why Saban retired when he did.

I will take one for the team and sign a 10 year contract, fully guaranteed, for one million per year.

Dillingham is not who you want. Watched him try to cheat the game of football last year against BYU by running his QB backwards to burn clock and then having him throw the ball as high as he could out of bounds on 4th down instead of just taking knees while inside the red zone…. BYU got a Hail Mary attempt based off of that stupid shite and damn near won.

I don’t think he’s a bad coach, but he’s got a big 12 mindset that I just don’t see working in the SEC.

Every young coach struggles with clock management that doesn’t scare me off of Dillingham at all. If we hold one bad game against every coach no one would be hired it’s football theirs not gonna be perfect moments. I’m gonna evaluate your full body of work that one game where you had questionable play calls.

Lane kiffin also recklessly went for it on 4th down up double digits in their own territory and got stopped. It’s a stupid risk but it happens coaches make dumb decisions.

Agreed
He had a nice stint at Oregon but was in a dream come true situation going home. He grew up a Cardinals fan, too. From Scottsdale.
