Simply passing along some info I heard

That’s pretty obvious he won’t be involved with this hire

Firing Scott Woodward is very risky. As badly as he handled Will Wade and men’s basketball, I still think he has done a good job overall.

Next time you make a $56 million mistake see how your employer takes it….

Firing Woodward is going to be deeply stupid. He did was he was hired to do, which was deliver big name coaches to LSU, and he did it in the manner in which people were hiring big name football coaches at the time. He missed. It's not a fireable offense IMO.

I agree but I hate it for an alum who has the job he dreamed of. But he did make his bed here and now he has to lie in it.

Ehhh. He's kind of bombed the football and basketball hires.
Jay was an awesome get and huge for him but that contract was so ridiculous that I don't know how you allow him to negotiate the next one.

And allow another to benefit? No thanks - is quite an investment

I’ll be surprised if Woody gets canned. Every move he’s made has felt like it came from above his head and he was just told to go figure out what it’s gonna take to get it done. No sauces, just my read.

Stephanie Rempe come on back down.

we already know. Scott McKay said the same thing in his HAYRIDE article.

It's not his fault Kelly shite the bed.

If anyone feels a tinge if concern here, let me tell you — that gut feeling you’ve got is correct.
This would be fricking dumb.
I’m not elated with Woodward, but we actually made the best hire of that cycle + he pretty much kicks arse at fundraising.
Who are you replacing him with? If it’s Saban, fine. Anyone else, yea idk about this one.

No he was hired to protect and grow LSU athletics..
Basketball is dead.
Football is dying.
Between Ed O and Kelly were are ACTIVELY paying the number 2 AND number 8 buyouts of ALL TIME.
