What do we think about Urban Meyer?

I know he hasn't coached CFB in 7 years at this point, but he's one of the all time greats who's just sitting on his couch doing nothing but going on pregame shows. I know he has his problems, but he's only 61 and has won literally everywhere he's been. I think he's in my top 3 most wanted right now

Elite status as both coach and douchebag.

Well he just talked shite about Jeff Landry so I don't think that will be happening

He had teams full of murderers and criminals. LSU doesn’t need him here. He is a cancer.

He was looking good but just shite on Landry so he’s out.

He’s a scumbag that no one likes and has been out of coaching for a while.
How would he handle the NIL transfer era?
Is he going to blame health as soon as things start going awry and quit?
No thanks.

LSU just got rid of one scumbag coach not sure they will want to deal with that again so soon

That's actually been his best quality. He doesn't outstay his welcome. You wouldn't have to worry about having to fire him and pay a buyout.

He's pronto far removed from the game as you say. But 4 years ago I w I uld have cum in my pants if we got him instead of Kelly. [Pun intended!]

I’d feel immoral and dirty.
More so.

Is that because you want as the next head coach?
He has said that he is done coaching and that "ship has sailed." I think he enjoys doing TV, just as Saban does as well.

The old, uninspired guy who has already made his money will likely not fly this go round. Just my guess.

Well, we certainly have enough bars around town to keep him happy.

He’s a helluva coach. I just wouldn’t trust him to finish out his duties and see things through.

Didn’t he quit on programs back to back? I forget how it ended at OSU.
