People on here are talking like he is.
He is by far the least qualified of the 5 finalists.
But he's a political animal and has snuggled up to Landry, and will do his bidding while in office.
It all checks out.

This is our taxpayer money we're talking about. Politicians should not be giving your money to their friends in exchange for favors. That's how Louisiana became the most corrupt state in the nation.

LSU’s enrollment numbers and support seems to have grown substantially over the last few years. I would surely think we could find more qualified candidates but I’ll give Rousse a shot.
What I really don’t understand is some suggesting Wade will come back with the hire. Wade is not leaving a basketball school because he’s close to the Mcneese administration

The former business partner who took part in a successful sale. He has BS, MBA, and PHD. He’s also a current president of a Louisiana college (Mcneese). Helped Raises 40 million and delivering an LNG center? He’s the least qualified?
