Why have all these coaches “quit” at LSU

If you think about it, Kelly, Orgeron, and Miles all seemed to have quit on the job and took the buyout. Saban left only to return to Bama and haunt LSU. Why is that?

Saban left for money. And quit on the NFL
Went to Bama for more money.
Went to Bama for more money.

Saban left to scratch the “pro itch” with Miami. Then, realized he had made a mistake and tried to get his old LSU job back.
Miles was fired
Orgeron let the success of the NC go to his head.

Miles and Orgeron didn’t quit.
Not sure if Kelly was ever really in it to begin with.

Ed didn’t “quit” he lost a generational qb, the rest of his career was mostly losing as a HC. He regressed back to his mean.
Miles had a good long run many coaches would kill for, then the game passed him by. He never just gave, just past his prime.

Was just an idiot. Dude had it made and all he had to do was keep it on the rails, then a blonde whore talked him into naked selfies.

Coates Hall is my only take. It's haunted with gheys.

O was never that good of a coach. He caught lightning in a bottle with Burrow and had the greatest season in college football. He didn’t quit, he just wasn’t ever that good.
Miles got stuck in his ways and couldn’t play to the level the game demanded. He didn’t quit, he got passed by.
Saban got offered a chance to coach in the NFL. Something any college coach, overachieving, type A personality wants. He didn’t quit LSU. He pursued a professional career goal. When he failed as an NFL HC he took an offer from a desperate Bama AD and went on to be the GOAT. But he didn’t quit LSU.
So you can shove this lame attempt to slight LSU right up your arse.

Miles, Orgeron, and Kelly all checked out while on the job. Orgeron was posting selfies in bed with his girl friend and screwing around at practice. Miles’ behind the scenes behavior and lack of effort to maintain a balanced roster and laziness with assistant coaches was evident. Kelly wasn’t the same after 2023 - he checked out. Technically, they were all fired but practically, they quit because were not putting in the effort as coaches they previously displayed and waited for the shoe to drop and not fix anything.

He did more than that. He engineered Mike Shula's ouster to create the vacancy he wanted. Machiavelli would be impressed by Saban.

Why? It's called life!

Money has a way of making people think they are smarter than they are.
They forget that while working smarter not harder is true, it does not mean that you do not work hard. A time to work and a time to play

It is odd we’ve won 3 titles in the modern era by 3 different coaches…none of which are welcome back on campus.

I think Saban would be welcomed back with open arms now that he is not at Bama.

LSU fans are some of the biggest ingrate fans that you can find. Not the only ones, but in terms of being real azzholes, we are in elite status. We'll run you out of town after two years .....if we can

I think you're over-simplifying what happened with all of them.

Miles didn’t quite he failed to adapt from “old school” football to modern football.

Miles didn’t check out. He simply couldn’t adapt. You may be dead on with the rest of your assessment, but he didn’t quit. He failed to evolve. I think he was committed right up until the end.
I don’t think O quit per se, but his goals and perspective changed after the natty.
Success (and a troubled marriage) does that to some people.

Mile was fired because he refused to evolve with the game. Too many years of archaic 1980s Michigan offenses.
Orgeron hit the lottery with Burrow & Co. He was not going to last regardless.
