Program building: Drinkwitz has turned around the Missouri program, achieving back-to-back seasons with 10 or more wins in 2023 and 2024.

SEC experience: He is already an established and successful coach within the SEC.

Offensive expertise: Drinkwitz is known for his offensive mind and system.

Modern approach: Drinkwitz is recognized for being ahead of the curve on NIL and the transfer portal.

Pass.

He has benefitted from an easy SEC schedule the last 2 years. And he is kinda weird and I think he is maxed out at Missouri. I don't him being a big-time coach.

What is his best win? He lost to BK at home in his best season

Correction, he lost to JD5/Nabers/BTJ and Denbrock, not BK in his best season...

we could do worse. i think you have to respect what he's done at Mizzou.

let's face it - anyone you hire is a crap shoot. go through all the top names and there are no guarantees.

He would be a solid hire. He is a little bit of a goober but his players still like him unlike Burger King

I agree. I thought Kelly was as close to a sure thing as there was...and that obviously failed.

Would love it. He checks all the boxes. If Kiffin says no, Drinkwitz would be near the top of the list for me for all the reasons you listed

It still feels like he doesn't have a signature win in the SEC.

Kirby Moore is the brains behind his offense, which I’m sure Kirby would come with him, but eventually Kirby is going to move onto bigger and better things.

He's also identified some really good assistants and coordinators in his time there.

The same people that love Kiffin because of what he's done at Ole Miss will dismiss the things that Drink has done at Mizzou, which is an even more difficult place to win at than Ole Miss. The guy is a hell of a coach and I think he'd do really well here.

The Missouri fan melt would be epic. Were they not salty when we stole Baker from them?

In 2023, he lost to JD5, finished 11-2 including a win over Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl.

I think Drink is a way better coach than Lane. Lane is entertaining, but I think there are better choices for the LSU job.

I love that song, like the coach, but he is not my first choice. I would not be heartbroken if he were the guy.

He's 1-9 against top 10 teams. His reputation grew by beating an OSU team that didn't care about that bowl game lol
