If the players rally around the interim HC and buy in… I think we have the horses to shock some people the rest of the way.

We have some solid talent & MVB + Berry could mitigate some OL deficiencies. If you just look at the first 8 games to date, we could feasibly be 7-1 at this point just with those guys starting and nothing else changed.

There is no greater optimism than that of an LSU fan. I'd love to see this team rally, for them and for no one else.

Don’t forget, USCe had Bama dead to rights this week.

I think we lose to Bama, but could win out after that. OU has a run of Tenn, Bama, and Missouri with the first two being on the road. Strong chance they have 4 losses going into our game with them. We may be more motivated than them.

Finishing 8-4 after the disaster this season has been would be a success imo.

I still don’t trust MVB getting the majority of snaps. Maybe things will change with BK gone. We all have dreams.

MVB may not be on board with burning his redshirt. We have no idea what he agreed to when he came over. He’s staring down a coaching staff change with no idea how he’ll fit in, or if he’ll fit in, so the thought of burning his redshirt for what’s left of this season might not appeal to him. I’m not saying that’s how it goes down; I’m saying in the NIL era, it’s certainly a possibility.

Damage is done by this carpetbagger . I really believe that the players are truly happy and will respond with NEW vigor

You haven’t even addressed the whatever happens to our defense whenever they have to play a top 80 offense

Unless the O line was sandbagging trying to get the coach fired or the quarterback killed, I don’t see too much change.

Very fair point badazz, but you have to think offense having potential to actually control the ball or dictate a pace could help a ton with that.

Reed is very good in their system & our fairly battered defense played their hearts out to keep us in that first half. It wasn’t pretty, but they showed up to fight.

They need to know what they have in him. The new coach will need some film.

Maybe they offer a raise in NIL.

I’d love to see 10,000 LSU fans show up at Alabama next week beat them in the own field

It should be very interesting to see how the team plays in two weeks. I'm thinking we'll see a very strong effort and a lot of player enthusiasm.
