Kelly was the HC for some of the worst losses I’ve ever seen in Tiger Stadium

Bama last year when it was 42-6 at one point in the rain, the abomination on Saturday, and I was there at 11 AM in 2022 against Tennessee getting the doors blown off 40-13.

We have standards at LSU, and he didn’t fulfill what he was getting paid big money to do.

I thought after his first year when he overachieved with less, he could make it work here.

It was time to move on. Even the game I went to this year when we beat South Carolina just wasn’t an enjoyable experience. And I think it was on Kelly for not putting a good team on the field. The offense is so underwhelming.

He was also part of one of the best with Jayden Daniels.

And still couldn’t make a change in season with house to salvage that season in 2023. Matt house should’ve been fired after the FSU game in 2023.

What? That team was a middling team that went no where. The defense was as bad as the offense was good.

When everyone looks back, they wonder how the hell you didn’t win a ship with a heisman trophy winner and two top ten nfl receivers as rookies.

You apparently did not witness the second half of Archer, all of Hillman, and the second half of DiNardo with Tepper's drop LB......there were some real doozy's there.

Jayden, Nabers and BTJ could have handed Kelly a NC on a silver platter if he hadn't fricked up the defensive side of the ball so bad.

Getting blown out by good teams is a foundational pillar of Kelly's reputation.

Well seeing as OP was talking about single games I’m sure tzimme was talking about Bama in ‘22.

A pathetic loss was when U of Houston beat us 20-7 in Tiger Stadium in 1999. The stadium was empty. It was way darker than where we are today.

yep. He came here to win championships like the previous 3 coaches did and he had his chance. He fricked it up all on his own. Went into that FSU game in 2023 with the lead at half just like we did this weekend. No coach royally fricks up an opportunity and get out coached quite as bad as he does

Those are the only home losses in Kelly's LSU career. This is the textbook definition of "recency bias".

I lived through the Hallman Era. There were worse losses. Much worse.

Funny how DiNardo wouldn't can Tepper, which resulted in DiNardo getting fired. Reportedly, that's what happened with Kelly when he was told to dump Sloan.

You're still defending BK after all this?

I was there. Dinardo was fired shortly after if I recall.
