The guys calling the game on ESPN 2 said there were 39 scouts from 22 NBA teams in attendance.
Duke won by 7…Ament and Gillespie went a combined 10-40 shooting, yet the Vols had their chances.
Boozer is going to win POY and I don’t think it’s overly close.

That felt like a Sweet 16 game, both sides looked tough and good. I would have said Final 4 until the last 7 minutes, when both teams got notably worse.
But that makes sense considering it isn’t even November, and the teams ran out of gas.
Very impressed with Boozer, who is very strong, athletic, and versatile.
Ngongba is making exactly the adjustments I expected, and Evans has added more elements to his game and is no longer just a 3 point specialist.
Impressive win considering the game was in Knoxville and Maliq Brown is still not cleared from his offseason surgery.
But that makes sense considering it isn’t even November, and the teams ran out of gas.

He’s an absolute stud workhorse but he’s a little undersized and not a particularly explosive athlete. Duke will go as far as they can ride him, the rest of the team is just ok.

He looks like a mix of Lonzo ball, Jabari smith Jr, and Pablo Banchero

I was going to say he looks like he could be better than Banchero was as a freshman. Higher motor and just as comfortable with the ball in his hands.
The only downside is he could be an inefficient player on offense like RJ Barrett, but this team doesn’t have Zion or Tre Jones-type players who are better options.
