If we had given Bryce Underwood 10 million, it would have saved LSU 45 million.

You know all of this now, but you didn’t know shite then. Can you read the future?

Probably would have had to sit behind Nuss too

We would've paid Underwood $10 million, still sucked, and then still would've had to fire Kelly.

We would still be struggling. It would have just maybe slightly prolonged the inevitable.

You think he’d magically fix this joke of an offense?

Nuss would've left, Underwood would've started and with his current stats of 7 TDs 2 INTs and 1750 yds combined (less than Nuss passing alone) we are likely sitting here tonight with 3 (or more) losses with every other thread being 'If only Nuss had stayed..." or "why is Sloan wasting a generational talent"

This place isnt happy unless ts miserable. Or Joe Burrow is playing QB.

They think it’s just Nuss not being a super mobile QB that was holding back Sloan and the offense.

You think Bryce Underwood would thrive in a system where 80+ percent of the pass play calls are to routes behind the line of scrimmage and 98 percent are behind the line to gain?

I’m not saying an opinion on it, I’m just saying it’s true. We wouldn’t have fired him this season, as there would be hope, as well as fear in losing Underwood (would be deemed as BK’s guy).

Sorry for pointing it out.

No freshman or college athlete is worth that much money. NIL needs regulations ASAP.

Let's not forget, if we'd paid Underwood we don't pay nearly as much in the portal. So the defense would still be total arse, instead of reasonably competitive. We'd have a worse record because we still lose to Ole Miss, Vandy and A&M, but also probably Clemson and maybe South Carolina.

I mean, this might not be a terrible strategy going forward. We need a competent coaching staff but dedicating a much larger ratio of funds to the roster compared to the staff going forward might make sense?

You cannot out bid the richest donor in the world. It would not have ended at $10 million
