We can't screw over MVB now if Im being honest, and I hate Nuss.

You played MVB twice already. He can only play 2 more games before he blows a red shirt, which would be stupid.

You probably see Nuss until he either gets hurt or we run up the score and then we finally see Hurley for a drive or two.

I would start him. Then the first time he limps, send him to the medical tent and put Van Buren in.

Shut him down for "injury" to let him keep his dignity

Not a wrinkle on your brain my boy.

This season is cooked. Why would you burn Van Burens read shirt for a chance at Belkin Bowl?

we have 5 games left and nuss limps off the field every other drive. Don't think it's an option.

My guess is that most of the team would like to see MVB get the opportunity. Team morale is important. It’s just not the Nuss from last year, whether that be from a physical standpoint, mental standpoint, or both. If nothing else, MVB can push the ball down the field and buy more time with the poor pass protection.

This is a business. You don’t redshirt someone who can help you win. If he doesn’t like that, he will sit out to redshirt.

Our starting QB for 2026 probably is playing elsewhere right now.

2 more seasons of eligibility, if they are good he goes pro anyway. Nuss didn't look into it; play MVB.

Agreed, this season is dead and thats not fair to MVB. Let Nuss keep hobbling around out there.

We will probably start to see a lot of draft eligible guys step away

How is giving the kid a starting job not fair?

I'm sure he wants to start, thats why he came to LSU.

He led the team down the field for our one and only drive of the second half why the frick would you not start him

This is pre-NIL thinking

Is it screwing him over if he goes and balls out the last 4 games and bowl game and gets a fat NIL deal next year?

MVB is not your future. If the coaches want him in the game, he either plays, or he quits. We have no need to worry about his redshirt. And he probably wants to audition for his next team by playing.
