A guy who has literally NEVER coached before would be a fantastic hire for a Top 5 job in the entire country?
Tell your 4th cousin we may look at him the next time around, you know, after he coaches at ANY level for a yr or 2.

Stfu. The head coach just needs to be likable and motivate the players. You hire top talent like kelvin shepherd at dc and someone like Joe Brady at OC. If Orgeron did it then anyone can.

LSU a top 5 job in college?.....no. Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC, Michigan.....5 jobs bigger right there. LSU is down there with Florida...Florida State....Oregon......those types. LSU is not a top 5 job.

He said he wanted to be A coach, not THE Head Coach. I’m sure he’d love that job one day but he, more than most, knows he’s not qualified for that yet.
