People saying Kiffin won’t leave Ole Miss…

Ole Miss is not and never will be capable of winning multiple national championships. Could they get lucky and have a great run one year and win once? Sure. They will never be a national powerhouse program. Even in the age of NIL, transfer portal, and the parity that we’re currently seeing. He knows that. Everyone knows that. He could win multiple championships at LSU establish a dynasty and create his legacy.
Furthermore, if you have a bad couple of years at Ole Miss… You have nowhere to go. You’re never going to an LSU or Florida or any other major program. He’s already done that… he’s already been to the major program that didn’t work out…then became a coordinator…and then had to go to a smaller program to work his way back to an Ole Miss sized program. This is his last opportunity to leverage what he’s done to get to one of the premier schools. He is leaving for either LSU or Florida. And LSU makes the most sense.

I like the Kiffin offense. I still get nervous with his past shadiness and immaturity.
I realize he seems to have finally grown up. But i could see him getting into some crap when he gets really comfortable at the top.
But i would have some excitement if he was hired.

Believe it or not the reason Lane would leave Oxford for LSU has nothing to money or anything listed here so far. Lane wanted to leave Oxford in 2022 for Auburn and would leave for UF or LSU because of atmosphere. Death Valley gives a competitive advantage that the Vaught can’t match, so does the Swamp and so does Jordon-Hare. Lane complains more than anything about the students leaving early. It’s the thing Ole Miss can’t match. Out population is divided between two SEC programs. I hate it but know it’s true.

Kiffin isn’t leaving Ole Miss because he knows that the thought of lane Kiffin is more valuable than lane Kiffin. He’s going to be cashing 8 figures yearly while going 9-3 or 10-2. Maybe hosting a playoff game every 6 years and smashing coeds on the square. He’s going to do what Dan Mullen should have done.

Kiffin is more likely to go to the NFL than LSU. He coached there previously and he can make more money with less headaches and babysitting in the NFL and if it doesn't work out he can go back to college.

Ole miss would match it.
He would have to want to leave for a better program in his eyes. Guess we will see. They need to have a backup plan. They need to do an actual search this time.
