I hate Brian Kelly for cratering LSU during a bad offseason to hire a coach

He could have at least had us tread water until next year so that we wouldn't be competing with PSU, UF, et al and a lackluster roster of replacement options.

There are no obvious elite options on the table, currently. The best is Kiffin, who has a ton of issues as the BK replacement.

There are always going to be big openings

Next year might be Clemson, USC, Michigan etc

We’re going to get outbid for Kiffin.

Maybe a non elite option is fine?

Go outside of the box and not lock in to a “proven” guy for 10 years

I hope so because if he leaves OM what is the floor? $12M per and 8 years?

Who were the elite options when kelly was hired?

Even if you go back and look at it without 20/20.

I'd take kiffin now over who Riley was then.

At least kiffin has performed well in the sec.

I generally disagree with you politically, but I can understand what you are saying. I have no idea what you are conveying here.

Would you rather find a new coach now or wait until the end of the season when there likely be a lot more teams bidding for coaches? As far as available coaches...there is no way of knowing who might be interested.

I agree with you in theory but we have to move on now. I was all in on just dealing with him until the end of next season until that second half last night. That was completely inexcusable

The OM mafia claims they will go to 13, they have mobilized.

Agreed wholeheartedly. I hope we avoid Kiffin, and I don’t really think it will be our choice.

Don’t keep a lame duck OC around for a recruit. That’s on BK. Step in when shite isn’t working. Clearly, he did not.
