1. Lane Kiffin
2. Curt Cignetti
3. Clark Lea
I realize Cignetti comes with having to pay Indiana. This is what I consider best list if money wasn’t at play.

Kiffin would be great at LSU. Brohm is another one to check up on

Cignetti is as available as Saban and Kirby

Lea shouldn’t be on there if money isn’t at play.

Cignetti is 64 and Indiana gave him a 10 year contract. Not worth pursuing.
It’s already a dumb contract. But not something Woodward wouldn’t do.

Kenny Dillingham should get a look.

Kiffin would be nice but the chances of him coming here are around 0%

That list sucks. We are doomed.

What about Franklin?

Why? He can’t win on the road against ranked teams and he never wins the big games

Cristobal is up there too

I think this guy is fools gold. He was shite until the NM St guys came on board. Kill was a damn good coach until the health issues and probably runs a ton of stuff behind the scenes. Plus he has Mexican Johnny Football. We’ve had experience in the past hiring coaches that had an insane good QB and it didn’t work out well.

My biggest want is a “guru” on one side of the ball. I've had my fill of the CEO coaches. It feels like neither side of the ball ever has a true identity.

I've been following him since he brought W KY to LSU and despite being completely outmanned made a game of it.
QB in NFL for 6 or 7 years so offensive minded.
W Ky, Purdue and now Louisville. Is a Louisville grad and from there so he may be happy.
Not young but not old, currently making 6 mil a year and UL is trying to extend him. May be PSUs pick and they are sitting on it.

I'll say this about the possibility- it could be hilarious.
Brian Kelly, criticized for not winning the "big game", comes to LSU to do just that and fails.
Franklin is criticized for not being able to win the "big game." If he came here and won a few titles, that would be some irony.
No way though that Franklin gets a sniff at this job at this time.
