If tweet fails to load, click here. He will be a monster for us when he gets truly acclimated to the speed of the NBA. His ceiling will be an Al Jefferson/Zach Randolph type player with his touch and how smooth he is.
I also liked how good he played defense on Wemby. The problem he has right now is finding a man and boxing out which in the post game interview he said DeAndre Jordan gave him advice on that

Missi better watch out because DQ coming for his minutes

I thought he stepped in really well lastnight. At one point 3 people in the group I was with all said at the same time how good of a job he was doing against wemby.

He looks more nba ready than I was expecting. There are shades of David West in his game.

People are p*ssed because the trade didn't make sense, but he will be a very good player.

I thought he looked great last night, and thought he played Wemby better than anyone else.
He doesn’t need to be a good 3 point shooter, but I would like to see him develop a DWest mid range pick and pop. If you can hit that shot, or roll to the goal and finish, or catch the puck and pop, pump fake and get to the goal from that elbow then that’s tough to defend.
Kind of getting excited to think about a Fears/Queen future

David West is a pretty high mark to reach

I saw him hit that shot in college. The 3 last night looked terrible. He has very soft hands around the rim.

Love our young guys, there’s things to definitely look forward to with this Pels roster. Hoping for a decent record (at least .500) after 20 games.

Agreed! When we drafted them, I thought they could bring that Stockton and Malone dynamic. Obviously you wouldn’t expect them to be that good, but the style of speedy/crafty guard running luck and rolls with a strong/skilled PF.

What I’m impressed by last night is he’s been barely playing real basketball since summer league bc of his wrist injury and looked solid.

I agree. Once he gets a little more run he looks like he can be a good one. It would be nice to hit on two of the high draft picks.

I don't know much about DQ. When everyone is healthy is he still going to play center? I assumed he was a 4

His conditioning (one of the two larger concerns) has been impressive. He doesn't look gassed like how Zion would have in previous years.
There is a real possibility our closing offensive line-up can be:
PG: Fears
SG: Poole
SF: Murphy
PF: Williamson
C: Queen

I cant remember us having two rookies looking so good so early that Willie Green played them both in crunch time and ot

Did we just draft the new CP3/West combo?

What if I told you we drafted Mini CP3 and mini D West?

thank Dumars....and the injury to Missi

He’s a jumbo 4/small ball 5. What he gives up in height, he makes up in size. I know I’m getting ahead of myself but he is a Jokic like player.

And we already have Treyja and an unimaginative coach.
But who can be our Bonzi?!
