I never thought they’d drag the shutdown this long over healthcare for illegals.
Do you think they’ll really hold out long enough for SNAP benefits to not go out? If they do, they must want widespread chaos thinking it’ll make Trump look bad. I guess it worked Trumps first term because they pitched a “return to normalcy if they got elected” and white suburban women fell for it hook, line and sinker

They have seen Republicans cave almost every time to date so they think this time will be no different than before. It looks like neither side will flinch until paycheck to paycheck workers start getting kicked out of their homes / apartments.

IMO they would rather the country be destroyed than surrender their leverage they perceive to hold on this free medical care funding for illegal aliens.
But the perfect storm coming at us is this $ 38 trillion dollar National Debt that is bringing us closer to default.

I could definitely see this as a plan of creating chaos. Multiple people on SNAP/EBT have made videos claiming that they will steal and rob if the benifits are cut off. With Xmas being around the corner. They want these people making videos crying about how they don't deserve not to have a Xmas dinner. Trump’s policies approach 100% success rates while blue states flounder.

none of us will ever know how widespread it is, but there are illegals who are recieving these benefits. I would have to imagine its going to be much more difficult under the current administration for illegals to continue recieving benefits or sign up for new benefits. AS they lose govt. benefits/free handouts, there is no reason for them to stay so they will leave..how many?? who knows but the democrats must have a strong sense for it as they are willing to keep the country shutdown over it..
