3rd day. Most people don’t have 3 days of food.

It’s the 24th of the month. No one with a Louisiana purchase card has any balance left for the month anyway.

SNAP - I bet they're going to regret that acronym soon.

There won’t be any riots. Everyone but the elderly will just find something to steal to pay for food. You will be suprised what people will do when they get hungry….

Why would they riot when they can just load up carts and walk out of stores consequence free?

business will go up for a while, then taper off when the food stamp recipients don’t have food stamps to sell to get the cash

I don't know about riots, but the very day their benefits are due to be refreshed, there's going to be an assload of them at every Target, Walmart, Dollar General, etc, showing up primarily to test the system then show their asses when they are declined.

yup. which is why there will be very little sympathy when Walmart reports a couple million in shrinkage losses over the next few weeks.

This.....it's going to suck for the people who work cashier/customer service positions at those stores. The assistant manager will probably even get clubbed with a purse filled with stolen items.
