Decent flick. Wasn't sure what to expect, but the twist seemed a bit contrived.

Jeff Bridges as the psych was curious as he played a similar role to Kevin Spacey's in Starman, back in the 80's.

I get the ambiguity of 'was he, wasn't he' with Prot, but I wish there had been more unexplainables with his story. But that's the catch with this type of movie. The viewer gets to decide what they want.

Underrated movie, imo. I like it.

Yep, saw it mentioned in the other thread & realized I hadn’t seen it.

Basically the message was everyone be nice to each other.

Great movie. Love movies that see saw back and forth about a big question and leave it legitimately open to interpretation. Hard to pull off.

Saw it in the theatre. Good movie. Who knew that the story about him being a cow slaughterer was a metaphor for younger male castmates? Not me, that I can tell you.

So. The film leaves it open. So hot think he was an alien for real or had a mental issue? On first watch I thought he was just crazy. On rewatch I think he may have been telling the truth.

I thought it was very clear he was telling the truth by the end of the movie. I think that was the twist: you were anticipating the logical explanations for the unexplainable but the ending was a clear indication it was real.

Only thing I remember about this movie was liking the movie itself and also liking the score.

I remember he bit into a banana without peeling it.

That's all I got.

From what I remember this is what I thought after watching as well.

Towards the end, there was a curious bit with the piano score which I swear is note by note identical to The Pussycat Dolls, Don't Cha, and I can't unhear it. As that song came out a few years later, I have to wonder ...

How I picked up on that I've no clue but I can find the time stamp.

Been through this a few times before. Want a refresher?

And mind you, this is a partial list and a year out of date. I can update if you're gonna play that game.
