Can someone explain to me the logic behind withholding the Epstein Files?

I frankly don’t think you guys can handle a conspiracy theory this hyped up to fizzle like it would.

The logic? The billionaires that are on it don't want people to know they diddle kids.

My beliefs here:

- (More conspiratorial, but plausible) - The files are littered with IC related references/insinuations. Biden was hamstrung when Trump's campaign was chattering about them, and now turn about is fair play to some extent. In other words, both parties are unwilling to put that stuff on the street and so whoever is not in power can yap all they want because they know the party with "ability" to release the materials can't do so.

- I also think the "files" are not as meaningful/robust as alleged.

- I think practically, you probably have issues relating to Epstein's wide array of contacts (such as Trump) and putting raw "files" on the street would mean a lot of relatively innocent people who had contact with Epstein for any other reason would get embroiled in this stuff.

- I also think, practically, that the more sordid stuff is tricky because a) many of the victims don't want it out there and b) some of it involves minors, but much of it (ie, videos, etc.) may or may not involve minors/crimes. I think Epstein probably had plenty of above-age women in his orbit too, and they're probably in compromising positions at times, and it's probably not that easy to discern what is what. Either way, government isn't just going to throw all of it to the public.

It would bring down both political parties and probably several other billionaires, congressman, senators, and world leaders.

I’m all for that personally, but I know that whoever does try to release them is probably just as guilty. It’s just not going to happen.

Absolutely.

Government is covering for their donors.

Or maybe, just maybe, there isn't anything legitimately damning in the files? As stated previously, there may be names but no actual record of what was done by whom to whom. Not dismissing the files and certainly not shielding any kid diddlers from accountability. But what if there isn't anything other than a manifest or guest list to the files? We'd have names but no "evidence".

Or, more likely, some of the people on the list have assured whoever releases the files that they and their families will be dead within a week of exposure.

If the files have damning evidence on rich, famous powerful people, then why would you want to give it away?

You can hold this over their heads to keep them in line.

I suspect that is what’s going on.

I’ve got a few theories:

1) Trump is using it to hold over powerful men in order to control them to stay out of their way so he can implement his agenda.

2) Rich donors are implicated so the elite is protecting their own.

3) Israel holds all the cards and is using it to blackmail the west.

the true bad guys in the epstein files are not the men who had sex with young women although they are trash. it is the mossad for using the videos as blackmail. trump doesn't want to give israel another blackeye. like the old joke, you set a trap and bait it with pussy, you liable to catch anyone.
