So now we going to subsidize the corn farmers more? Government needs to get out of the free market. We keep tripping on our dicks.

Yeah, because switching to cane sugar makes it so much healthier.

They have been selling Mexican Coke in the states for some time. Just like they have been building the ice breaker ships for some time

Anyone who has ever had mexican coke compared to ours makes our version a much harder thing to go back to consume
And yes you can get mexican coke here in the U.S. but I've only ever seen it in glass bottles and its very expensive by comparison

Is it fun to just make shite up to complain about or does it become tiring?

The Fanjul brothers receive around $65 million in annual subsidies for their sugar business.
This funding is used to support their sugar empire, and the family uses some of it to gain political influence to ensure continued subsidies.
Annual subsidy amount: The Fanjul brothers reportedly receive approximately $65 million in annual subsidies, according to Wikipedia.
Purpose: The funds are used to support their sugar and real estate business, which is reportedly valued at over $8.2 billion.
Political influence: The family is reported to use a portion of the subsidies to fund political campaigns and lobbying efforts to maintain their access to government support.
One brother is republican one democrat. When Al Gore proposed a one penny tax per pound on sugar to clean up the everglades, the democrat brother called the white house and interrupted Clinton in a meeting.....with Monica Lewinsky....that is power.

Trump could cure leukemia and you'd find something to bitch about.

Coke with sugar does taste better, but you could already get this before so I'm not sure what the big deal is. Maybe it'll be more widespread and have a new label, but you can literally go to Rouses right now and get some.

Pointing out an objective medical fact isn't bitching, it's just an observation. Your mistake is that you interpret any statement that doesn't polish Trump's knob as bitching.
Switching from HFCS to cane sugar has zero health benefits.

No, we're already subsidizing them enough with ethanol. HFCS comes from corn. Cutting the demand on corn should lower the price of corn and thus a lot of other prices.

There is no law mandating the change from HFCS to cane sugar. Also, it's not like they are replacing all HFCS products, just offering the cane sugar version to a wider consumer group.

Now if you said that between 2008 and 2016 you'd have nothing but upvotes. But right now a lot of people read that as:

Trump needs to get out of the free market.
Hence the downvotes.

comments like this show the world that you're a fundamentally stupid person who lacks any shred of logical thought.
Thank you....It's the online equivalent of walking around with an "I'm an idiot" sign around your neck.
