Big time coach - Indiana coach Curt Cignetti - he's won at every school he's coached at and currently has his Hoosiers team undefeated and ranked number No. 2 in the country
Smaller school coach - Georgia Tech coach Brent Key currently has his team undefeated with a 7-0 record and ranked seventh in the latest AP poll.

Big time coach - Lane Kiffin. I think Kiffin with LSU’s resources could be lethal. Biggest issue was (is?) maturity but it seems like he’s grown up a bit since those Tennessee days. Plus he knows the SEC.
Smaller school coach - Kalani Sitake. He’d be a tough pull since he’s at his alma mater (BYU) but his teams are always tough as hell. They had to scramble for a QB this season too and have developed a good scheme for him. They are undefeated this season. It would be interesting to see what he could do with LSU’s recruits. Younger guy with good energy.

I think I saw a graphic that Brent key has more outright victories is underdog than anyone since he took the job at tech

I’ll j just say I like the following coaches and anyone if these guys could be a complete bozo you don’t no unless you get those interviews and interview his subordinate previous coaches and players
Brent key
John sumrall
But these are two guys I would consider as they can be had for cheaper price and buy experience support around them may be possible.

Hard to argue with his results thus far, but he’ll fail at any program with bright lights. Watch some of his interviews, he’ll be a dumpster fire at any program that people pay attention to.
I hope Florida or Auburn or one of our rivals make a push for him.

You do realize Cignetti just signed a contract extension at $11m a year, right?

That's my biggest fear with LK too. He's proven he's an incredible offensive coach, but he can be immature at times and it's cute at first, but I'm sure that can get old. The other issue with LK is his teams have not had dominant defenses, which is a must if you want to win SEC and NCs.
I do like the BYU coach, but I just don't see a coach coming from a moron school fitting in with the Louisiana culture. I guess he could try to change his accent like BK, but that didn't go over too well.
