Visited Colorado, now in Vermont — pretty sure Subaru just ships their entire inventory straight to these two states. I’ve seen more Subarus than street signs.

Also, Burlington’s main attraction isn’t the lake or Church Street — it’s the staggering number of professional loiterers, all located within the Church Street area. I'm actually quite surprised (well, not really - I realize the state that I am in) that local officials don't try to relocate them to another area of the city where tourists are less likely to be.

Edited to add.

Montreal was the same way with the number of bums in their "touristy" area.

They drive really good in snow. Like a Saab but without the electrical problems.

I live in Maryland and they are all over the place. My guess is going north from here will just multiply that number. Especially as snow averages increase.
I would never buy a Subaru but they are very good vehicles

My wife drives an Outback. Solid vehicle. Capable. Dependable. Safe. Didn't break the bank.

From what I have read, they are solid, reliable vehicles.

That said, I will never own one. I'd rather take my chances with Ram.

we fly into Seattle relatively often and that seems to be the rental car of choice, got to admit it's not a bad little ride, I don't like that lane correcting feature, the "nudger," but I understand it can be disabled

It's because they are awesome in the snow.

Also, they are fantastic off road vehicles in general as long as rock climbing isn't on the menu.

Subaru’s are solid vehicles and one of the safest on the market.

I’d definitely consider buying one.

I have about 150K miles on my Outback. Have driven it rain, sleet, snow, ice...pretty much everything. It's the best and most reliable vehicle I ever owned. It handles well in all conditions, was not expensive, and has had zero issues. Only thing I've ever done is oil changes, tires, and brakes. Not one major repair required yet.

Knock on wood.

I do think B&J makes the best ice cream of any ice cream company. But I refuse to support their company any longer because of political agenda.

Lived in CO for a few years and got an outback while I was there. Great car for snow driving, throwing your ski stuff in the back, and a fun car to go camping out of.

The stereotype is real, but we got over it. It has been a great vehicle.
