Yeah it has been for a few years now. Since I think someone sent a series of bombs. Also because drug dealers love next day service

Not in BR. Our FedEx driver just walks in the warehouse, sets the packages down, and hauls arse. No signature or anything.

I don’t let anyone touch my ID except bank and police.

They did that to me the other day- but it was important documents being delivered - so I figured that’s why they asked for mine.

Also- lunch thread?

RBR and RTTW.

Yeah, FedEx gets me on wine shipments. UPS doesn't.

They scan the back of your ID when it comes to alcohol, tobacco and firearms. They can manually punch in your DOB if you’re not home. I had customer who ordered guns and I’d put ‘em in the garage and put in his DOB.

I could see this. They left a whole laptop on our front porch while we were on vacation and now want to scan my license for an incidental electronic accessory. Nah.

They will never deliver firearms to your house. Unless you have a FFL.

Sure….but I always whip out my phone and snap a picture of the signature tablet with my signature on it. It never fails to unsettle the driver!

This was actually a delivery for me, for something my workplace deemed neccessary for my job.

Sorry, not doing it. My signature should be good enough (and that's all some of my co-workers needed, just a signature for this device)

I advised my leadership, they advised to re-order it and have it sent to the regional office.

Why? I’ll never understand why a grown man gets aggregated at having to show a license when buying alcohol. It’s not hard to show and it’s definitely not hard to understand why the store wants you to, even if you look 70.

Actually... carding a 70yr old IS very hard to understand. Carding is supposed to prevent underage purchases of restricted items.

Carding a septuagenarian is ridiculous as it is unnecessary for preventing underage sales.
