What could Coach Kelly say today in the press conference to change your opinion?

I am so frustrated that I would want him to take ownership of the failure that he put on the field.

"I've had enough. Turning everything over to Nick Saban, who has agreed to take over the remainder of my contract at LSU."

“After spending much time in thought and prayer, I have made the decision to resign, effective immediately. Have a great day.”

Today I let Sloan and Brad Davis go, and we are bringing in Sam Pittman as a consultant for the rest of the season. After the season, I will hang it up and let LSU go in a different direction.

There's nothing he can say.

If he came out and took full ownership (he has) the fans would just turn his words around on him.

That's not a defense of Kelly. It's just a reality of the fanbase.

That Sloan is fired and he has hired Joe Brady as OC....

That would buy him maybe 3 weeks.

"I've failed the State of Louisiana, the university, the players, the coaches, and our fans. Rather than continuing to bleed the resources of this great state and university for a sub par product, I've decided to resign."

There aren't words that can sway opinions of most of the fambase. Actions, such as beating A&M and Bama, even staff changes such as relieving Sloan of playcalling duties and/or sacking Davis would at least show he understands changes need to be made.

If they're just going to keep chugging along doing the same shite that hasn't worked all season then I don't care what words come out of his mouth.

I can't think of many opinions of mine that would be changed other than the belief and acceptance that he now understands you have to be elite at the coordinator position to compete at the championship level in the SEC. Talent should not be a problem and hasn't been since the late 90s but you HAVE to be elite at the Coord positions if you are not elite on one side of the ball or the other.

I think he has an overinflated perception of his value on the offensive side of the ball but brings no "expertise" to either side.

O understood this. Miles refused to accept this. Saban knew this. Dinardo refused to accept this. It defined all of their tenures at LSU.

I honestly don’t care what he says. It’s bullshite. He yells at his staff the entire game expecting a different result. We obviously don’t practice the things we’re terrible at because we constantly keep doing them. He’s a fraud and deserves what’s coming. His entire offensive staff is garbage.

There is nothing he can say, at this point. The fanbase has become apathetic to the coachspeak and excuses.

The only thing he can do to sway opinions, now, is win games.

He's basically in the position where Ryan Day was a year ago after the loss to Michigan and a fanbase totally turned against him. Kelly will now have to go and win games, and win convincingly.

Nothing, but he should 100% fire Sloan today.

It doesn't take 4 years to figure that out. He doesn't give a shite. I think he wants to be fired.
