IF anything happens with Kelly…Don’t forget how close Orgeron and Kiffin are. We need Coach O to talk to his boy about coming to save the team and state that he loves. If there’s one thing that Orgeron can do, it is recruit. Get on it O!

O doesn't give two fricks about LSU or Louisiana.

ETA: If you think LSU will allow O any influence regarding anything football related, you're just as retarded as the guy who thinks we should keep Kelly as an assistant.

I don't buy that.

He's just a simple man and a guy who's well suited to be an assistant coach.

Kiffen was my pick after O left. Kiffen was begging for the job. It's LSU.

If Kiffin goes to Florida, coach O might be his new dline coach. Coach O was Kiffin’s dline coach at Tennessee and USC.

Because Kiffin makes changes and with top Louisiana players in his back yard he would kill it here. Look at what he did with the damn QB they have now! He made Baker look like a Highschool D coach against a kid everyone on here said didn’t have a chance against our D! He can get a staff together to compete! Now give him all the LSU resources and backing and talent in this state and he will win a natty!

Even when he left us in the middle of the night to join Kiffen in Tenn and tried taking our recruits with him.

LSU doesn’t even have an opening. As far as we know it’s likely LSU isn’t firing Kelly this year.

It always amazes me the amount of people who by into the O " LSU dream job" Lousiana myth. fricker spent the bulk of his career outside the state and his real "dream job" was always USC.

I’ll give you the love for Louisiana, but LSU? Come on lol

He never played at LSU.

You think he loved LSU when he was at Arkansas? When he was at Miami, FL? At Syracuse? at Ole Miss? At Tennessee? At USC?

He loved LSU when he got a job here. Then he undermined Miles and got the HC job. He loved it when we went 15-0.

But….. didn’t seem to love it so much after the 2019 season when he allowed the football program to go down in flames.

Wasn't he kicked off of the LSU football team by Charlie McClendon and attended Northwestern State? He grew up going to LSU football games with his dad.

He quit after 2 weeks because McClendon wanted him to move to guard. Not sure how that qualifies as "playing" for LSU.

Kiffin is 50 and actually calling the plays. It doesn’t matter who the OC is if he’s the one calling the game. You’ll never have to worry about one side of the ball.

When has LSU had that?

They would def make recruiting difficult for everyone not named Miami.

Exactly. He’s been a coach for decades at some big time jobs and yet still hasn’t won anything.
