I think we will see a 9-3 team in the playoffs this year with the new strength of record metric that takes into account schedule and quality losses. With that said, it will not be LSU that makes it at 9-3. However, if somehow BK rallies this team and finishes 10-2, are we back in his corner? We didn't lose to "bad" teams, just programs we didn't normally lose to in the past. I know everyone is pissed because we had a very legitimate chance to win those games, and should have with LSU's talent. But would a playoff spot heal the wounds? Or just piss us off more after we get beat in the first round.

I seriously think we only have one win left and that’s Western Kentucky.

Absurd. You're talking playoffs when a human bowling ball just made our football team look silly.

No of course not. On paper our losses are not that bad.

Problem is, we are lost on the field, LSU fans can see that this is not one of those teams that can battle through adversity. Tony’s, the losses were that bad.

Could happen. It won’t be LSU. We’re done, move on.

I don't even like pretending

LSU will never reach a playoff under Brian Kelly.

LSU is going to lose 3 of the last 5 games at a minimum, that's not being a pessimist, that's not being a doom and gloom type of fan, this team, under this head coach, is just not good. It's that simple.

No, but when there’s four or five of them, does it really matter?

LSU fans are emotionally attached to the program and right now we just watched the strength of our team get its shite pushed in. It's still raw. Ask this question later this week when people have had time to get passed the anger part of it and you might get a different reaction. Right now, the only reactions you will get is "You can't actually think that is possible", "Have you seen the team this year", "BK sucks, Sloan sucks, we need to clean house", etc.

There is no positive response today. People are angry with what happened and how it happened and want to vent, so that's all you will get today.

Name your price and I’ll bet any amount we don’t go 3-0 on those.

Best chance is at Norman in late Nov at night. Good luck with all that

Look at the next 3 offenses we play.

A&M
Alabama
Arkansas

They will all score 30+

Ask yourself if you realistically see LSU scoring 30+ in any game besides Western Kentucky this season

OP’s next post is probably going to be about how Nuss technically still isn’t out of the Heisman race

If we run the table we are still in the playoffs. The only silver lining in this season is that outside of Ohio State (cause of their soft schedule) there really is no runaway team. Any major conference team with 2 loses will be largely in the conversation and get in.

For me, that still wouldn’t excuse BK if he goes out and squeaks out wins. Now, if he can get the team looking like a powerhouse somehow and he can say “look how we went from maxing out at 21 points per game and the last 5 we averaged 38, and we went from losing the time of possession battle to winning” or some other tangible evidence that would show me that he can take a team that seemed lost and bring them together and that would win me over. I’m the eternal optimist and I hope he can do it, every season so far (except this one) his teams have gotten better throughout the season. That said, my logical brain tells me this team is lost.

In week one. Bama has improved dramatically since then. Bama will destroy LSU.

What is LSU rated??? Other than a home game at night, what has LSU shown you that it has the ability to beat A&M??

Played Auburn without Mateer. Played Texas first week back with Mateer, who obviously was rusty and only a shell of himself.
