Been waiting for the ball to drop since 5a:( guess today won’t be the day

Not getting fired this year. That’s just the truth of it, even if he did.. how long you willingly to give the next coach? 3-4 years and it starts up again.
If you did fire BK, whoever comes next will get the same assurance he won’t be left hanging either (if not more)

He’s not getting fired right now. His seat is just red hot. If we lose another couple games, which we will, he’ll be fired at the end of the season

They aren't firing Kelly for at least 2 more full years. LSU is not a financial powerhouse. If I had to guess, NIL will basically be dried up for next year at the absolute least.

LSU can afford it but it doesn’t make sense to do right now. There’s going to be a bunch of open jobs this year and a short supply of coaches.
Finish the year, eat into his buyout another year, start getting your ducks in a row for the inevitable next year.

Everyone talks about how we can’t afford the buyout AND NIL.
Well no one is going to give NIL money to a Kelly run program anyways

If they want to fire him and can this wouldn't be a good approach. It runs the risk of putting the program another year or two behind
