Desormeaux sucks. The "one of us" thing only works if he has any kind of ability to fire up the local community/donors (ex. Orgeron), but Des is a poop in the punch bowl

Two different circumstances. UL lost good players to portal. USM brought in a ton of kids, most of which came from defending SBC champ Marshall with the coach.

Our defense is actually pretty darn good for a G6/SBC defense. They’ve honestly been playing their asses off every weekend.
But we have a 2A high school offense. Such bullshite. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of our defense and our D coordinator hit the portal after this season.

But I will say the people responsible for those financial games should be investigated with criminal charges on the table, in my unprofessional opinion.
