How is Jay Jones even in the Virginia AG race?

Latest polls suggest Jason Miyares has a few points on Jones. But how? Jay Jones’ text came to surface recently, he fantasized about former VA speaker Todd Gilbert and his “fascist” kids getting shot in the head.
Of course, a good ole apology and “I didn’t mean it” and Jones is off the hook. What a sad indictment on where we are. The guy running for the top law office in Virginia is still on the ballot and can make the race close.
Virginia has a problem- northern Va is full of totalitarian statists whom control state politics. They should offer Fairfax county, Loudoun county and Arlington to Maryland.

Because the average Democrat voter agree with him. It really is as simple as that. Couple that with a compliant media that covers for him.
