Mike Rowe podcast - guest tells of her dealings with men in women's prison.

Amie Ichikawa did some really dumb stuff and got tossed in prison at the age of 24. Amie is a female, btw, but she didn't realize that men also (several dozen in, fact) are among the ranks of inmates serving time while pretending to be women themselves.
Some are rapists, batterers of women, but that's fine in California. See, not only is it legal, but 100% of all the male inmate's medical expenses, including hair removal, physical augmentation, feminine products, is given to them, free of charge.
Just like the other women, right? Nope. If you're a women who needs her implants replaced or taken out, TF. Should have thought of that before getting caught.

In all honesty, Oldmanbeasley would prefer to serve time in a woman’s prison over a men’s prison.

Well if I had to commit a crime and potentially go to prison, I would do it in California then if all you have to do is say you feel like a woman. There’s got to be some kind of criteria much more than this probably.

Mike's grandad was a carpenter / handyman who told Mike to go into Opera singing instead.

Seems it worked out well for everyone involved.
But to the point, chicks with dix aren't really chicks, yet in the CA prison system.

Rowe also advertises his foundation as proudly helping people get started financially on their trade career.

Wow, that’s incredible to hear. What a life story. Tack on the enormous work he’s done in this country for the blue collar workforce and he certainly deserves praise.
