This has got to be the most asinine thing I have ever heard. Democrat politicians love to just give away other peoples money. Can you imagine owning properties that require income to manage and the government intervenes to remove your income? Don't get me wrong, there are far more lazy government workers than there are "landlords", which is why this bill is promoted.

Yes because all landlords aren’t big corporations. Most are working people who count on that income to survive or plan for retirement.
But if this dumbass Marxist/Dem Bill ever passed ( it won’t currently) they would probably make the term of not paying rent, 5 years, rent free.

I guess the Landlords could pull a divisive move, a/k/a a democrat run government move and just double the rent of the tenants not employed by a broke government and blame the increase on the bill promoted by the democrats.

Solution for landlords: any applicant who is employed by the federal government in any capacity is required to put down an additional deposit of 3 months worth of rent to make up for the possibility of being government shutdowns and political bickering making you go without a paycheck for a while. See how those employees like getting screwed over by Democrats wanting to play stupid games.
