Maybe the team takes offense to that and plays inspired.

Either way, Vandy has a very good coach and a pretty good roster with a gamer at QB. Not all that crazy for them to be favored here.

I think it is maybe more of a credit to Vanderbilt. Clark has really improved that program

This is not a typical Vandy team. You should be saying:

My how the weak have risen.

We just going to pretend this is Bobby Johnson's Vanderbilt and not a top 25 SEC opponent on the road?

This board is filled with so many bitches.

Any other fanbase would take it as disrespect and an opportunity to make a statement.

The rant “ugh we shouldn’t even play our program has fallen!!!!!!!!!!”

And? Vandy isn’t a scrub program anymore. Put up or shut up.

That's a good thing. Get's the teams attention and makes sure they don't overlook Vandy on the road.

I like LSU to play better with an "disrespected" attitude.

That doesn't matter. LSU has a $95M coach in his 4th season. There is no fricking way that Vandy should be favored over LSU. The fact that they deserve to be favored says more about LSU than it does Vandy IMO.

Dude, it's a point spread. It's designed to get money to come in on both sides for the wise guys in Vegas. It's a top 25 matchup on the road in the SEC but you're stuck on the name on the jersey.

Vanderbilt also beat Alabama last year and came within a field goal of top 5 Texas and took top 20 Mizzou to double OT. Pretending they aren't a dangerous team just because they sucked when you grew up is peak short sightedness.

I love the fact that we are underdogs. With an even better defense that held Vandy to 17 points last year. They will be fired up and if LSU can bring the same offensive productivity they had with SC, but without the TO, then we should win by 14 or more.

My heart says that they will come out inspired, execute at a high level, and go down the field for a TD on the opening drive.

My brain tells me that this is an 11 am kick and there will be a 3 and out.

With what we spend on coaching and NIL it’s an absolute embarrassment and anyone stating otherwise is in denial.

Saw this post the other day and I think most people would be surprised with LSU's 11 am record recently. Hint; they've actually been really good.

Mizzou was a 3 touchdown favorite over Vandy last year.
Texas was a 17.5 pt. favorite
Alabama was favored by 24.5

How'd those games work out? These are point spreads to stimulate betting that we're talking about here. Just let the game play out.

I was not expecting this to be one of the most anticipated games on our schedule but being underdogs to Vandy snapping a 51 consecutive game streak in the SEC where they’ve been underdogs has me feeling we’re being disrespected. We’re ranked #10 in the country so definitely should have a chip on our shoulder. Looking forward to this one

Are you implying that Vandy does not spend money on their Athletic program?

I didn't say that. I said that LSU should be better. Vandy's head coach makes less than half of what BK does and has infinite recruiting disadvantages. The fact is that BK is not doing a good enough job based on what he is being paid and how long he has been here.

Thanks for the hint. Have they come out crisp in those games or did they end up pulling out a W after a slow start? Seriously curious question.

Seems like 11:00 kicks would usually be against shittier competition so I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they had a good record.
