Nuss’ Knee

I know the concern was his ab/core, but his knee seems like it is a monster problem. Anytime he gets breathed on he comes up gimpy

hate to say it - but I have suspicion he is faking that limp a number of times.

He actually took some hard hits this weekend. I was looking for MVB on the sideline a couple times

He's limps if his funny bone gets hit.
It's the weirdest thing.

Didn’t BK mention a recurring knee injury during Fall camp?

Maybe that’s why he throws terrible interceptions? Wait…he’s always done that. Il be glad when the Nuss experiment is over.

I have that same opinion. It doesn't matter where or how hard he seems to get hit, he gets up limping and it seemingly disappears by the time the ball is snapped for the next play. I have no idea whether its on purpose or subconscious, but to me if his knee or ankle was truly injured to the point that he was limping that badly he would at least be pulled for a play to evaluate him, yet he stays in and as I said, the injury seems to disappear after he makes a good play

Heard he’s playing on a torn acl, mcl, and pcl. Absolute soldier!

Nuss’ best medicine for an injury from getting hit is the threat of getting hit again.

I heard he had a prosthetic leg. Dudes a warrior.

Patellar tendinitis. Not really affecting him in game, but he did get his ankle/knee twisted on one play.
Y’all need to chill out with all this character assassination on #18. It’s ridiculous

"Shout out to him, man. He's a warrior."
"warrior" is misused by these spoiled NIL punks, don't think any of them kow what a warrior is

I agree too. Dude will take a shot to the chest and then act like he can barely put weight on his ankle that nothing happened too. Makes zero sense.

That's kind of what happens when anytime you get hit you lay on the ground for a while, then get up limping...only to look fine immediately thereafter.

Nah man... it's real! Nuss hasn't been the same since he was decked a year ago by South Carolina's Kyle Kennard, on a pick 6.

Who's attacking his character? All we are pointing out is that Nuss goes from looking like he's out there limping with a broken leg to looking perfectly fine in a matter of seconds. And it doesn't happen once or twice a game, but multiple times a drive. You can ignore that all you want, but you have to admit that at the least its peculiar

After one play, he got up like he was shot in the leg, then the very next play, he runs like normal for 15 yards and is jumping around(literally) celebrating like nothing ever happened.

I would never go after his character or his competitive desire. If he was all about the money or something else, then he wouldn’t be trying to compete. I have always been a big supporter of his.
However, I have thought he was hurt (injured) and wasn’t allowing himself time to fully recover, which just allows for re- injury or injuring something else while trying to protect another injury. That happens.
Mostly, if he has been injured, that falls on the head coach to recognize it and take steps to not only protect Nuss from himself, but also to weigh that with giving the team the best chance to win. Because, in the end, that’s for what he’s being paid.
Anyway, with all the reported injuries (as well as what I can see with my eyes), I can never question his toughness, commitment or competitiveness. I was a QB and, with his OL, I know that I wouldn’t go out there with an injury and risk it. But, he’s a true Tiger, no matter what some on here say!

Didn't he do this last year as well? Nuss has always got up gimpy after just about every hard hit he takes. He's not a big QB so it's easy to see why he's gimpy on every big hit. In the Oklahoma game last year he took a hit so hard it looked like he was done for the season got right back up and just kept chucking in the game.

Yes, it's been a thing as long as he's been a starter pretty much
