I quit watching SB when Kaepernick, a devout Muslim, was being supported by the league. I hope and pray more people watch the TPUSA program than the entire Super Bowl.

I find the grandstanding from both sides about a halftime show odd.

The goal isn’t to outdraw the regular halftime show. The goal should be to peel off 20-30M. That would be a roaring success.
The NFL is playing a game with who they invite to the halftime show. They are assuming their normal demographic is watching and then they can add to that normal demographic by the artist choice without subtracting.
The goal is to make this assumption null and void. If the halftime show is lower rated than the game, the NFL has to reconfigure their invites to someone more mainstream.
