Why not just auction it and use that money for something?

B/c it was probably a car cops were secretly using to do illegal shite in and they needed to destroy the evidence.

What’s that supposed to prove? Seems like a waste to me.

Impressive suspension. A little soft for my tastes, but not bad.

Because the only person that would have bought it would be doing donuts in the streets and drive-bys within a week.

It was so distinctive, set up cameras and mail out the tickets and continue to make money off of it.

From someone with LMPD (department in question in OP):

- There were issues with some of the after market modifications that would’ve cost more to make it “street legal” for the PD to repurpose.

- It also reportedly belonged to someone who has been shot at on more than one occasion. If someone bought it as is, good chance you end up with a drive by and mistaken identity.

Still that engine alone is worth $15,000.at minimum. Sell the drivetrain.

Sounds like my Ford Expedition in the cash for clunkers program. Why did I do that?

Cash for Clunkers is the reason why you don't see ANY gen 1 or 2 Explorers. They were super reliable. Yet we're the#1 car bought in the program. They put fiberglass in gas mixture to kill the engines.

Such a shame. Now all the cheap cars are high mileage shite boxes.

It was assembled from stolen parts. The whole thing was cobbled together and there was no way to make it legal. Thats why it had to be crushed.
