I am a long time season ticket holder, and it's frustrating that I can't call home to check in during the games. I have AT&T service, and it's non-existent in and around the stadium.

What companies offer the best service in and around the stadium? How is T-Mobile, for example?

Not Verizon. At least not for us. Texts won’t go out. They come in when people start leaving sometimes.

Can’t check scores — can’t check TD to see what the score board things re: good/bad call.

I’ve had AT&T, Verizon, and TMobile. None have given me good reception in the stadium

Ol' Lady wants to make sure you aren't getting rowdy?

I mean there are 200k+ people in one area, most trying to use their phone, what do you expect.

Why can’t they just setup some WiFi?

I swear theu do it on purpose for advertising or something. I can't check anything in the stadium. I want to be able to check Twitter and fanduel.

This is where we are as a society, thinking everything is a conspiracy theory.

Like someone said before, there's over 200K people in and around the stadium trying to access cell towers at the same time.

I have at&t and I was texting friends, checking scores on espn and looking at td.com all night (between plays and during those ridiculously long TV timeouts) with no problem at all.
I was in the Stadium Club on the west side (as a guest, I'm poor.) Would that have made a difference?

Went to Fenway Park earlier this year to watch Sox vs Yankees. It was the night LSU played in the College World Series. Was able to stream the whole LSU game in the stadium because they have wifi. I believe all MLB stadiums now have wifi. Why the hell LSU cant do it, have no clue. Everytime they send a post game survey its the one thing I complain/suggest every time.

Lol I wasn't serious. It just doesn't have a real justification not for fixing the problem.

Add more towers to handle the people or add wifi to the stadium.

We have the same problem on Auburn’s campus on gameday. Luckily for me I have access to the AU WiFi.

You do realize there’s 100,000 plus people in one building, all using their phone all game. Tiger Stadium becomes the 4th or 5th largest “city” in the state. Yes, it’s frustrating but increasing capacity would be costly.
It’s just like traffic after the game. That many cars leaving a concentrated area at one time is going to cause problems.

It is actually a blessing that you can't access that non-stop toxicity.

No company. There are limited amounts of “bandwidth”, so to speak That many people in one cell makes reception difficult

I have a IPhone 17 with ATT and I had service. It was slow but watchable.

Who is the official provider for LSU? Seems like you could tie that to good stadium performance somehow...it's a solvable problem. Just need to scale up the equipment to match the demand. The problem is that no one yet has been motivated to solve it.

Personally I don't like the new music they play or the DJ. I'm more traditional and like the band and less stuff between plays. But would really like, and pay for, cell service that would work so I could check on stats, listen to Blair & Hester, and check on how other game are going.

Some stadiums choose to have good bandwidth to improve the fan experience.

The fact that LSU does not have free WiFi shows how far we are behind understanding what fans want in a GameDay experience. USC and Ole Miss have it for crying out loud.

It would cost $25 million to put in high density WiFi that could handle 100K people in an area the size of TS. Ohio State did it and they pulled 48 miles of fiber through the stadium to connect all of the access points.
