He stopped winning so Penn State will suddenly start caring about all that rape stuff in his past as an excuse to get rid of him.

I don’t believe Penn state is paying that buyout

Franklin isn’t great, but it doesn’t seem like there is a great pool of candidates out there that will be better than him.

Total insanity and irrationality. The guy has an amazing record at Penn State, although granted he can’t seem to win the big games.

I’d think cigneti at IU would be at the top of their (and everyone else’s) wishlist

Cig is a Pittsburgh guy, too. He'd be a juggernaut AT Penn State. But that would probably cost them legit close to $100M or more to fire Franklin, buyout Cignetti, and then sign him to a deal., plus his staff.

A 700m dollar stadium renovation is currently on the way as well, CJF is shitting the bed at a inconvenient time for them

They were one play away from the national championship last year. This is just bullshite to put pressure on him

Doubt it. They're gonna go like 5-7 so he'll go into next season on the hot seat.

Curt Cignetti and Matt Rhule the top two choices? I could actually see Cignetti saying no and staying at IU. Question is would Rhule walk away from Nebraska if they have a 10-2/9-3 type season. Which at this point is very possible.
