Whatever the opposite of the Reps is.
They aren’t an idea party. They are simply just an opposition party.
They don’t want to help you. They want to control you. The only way to control you is to be in power. The only way to be in power is to beat the Reps. It’s the sad part of our two party system. They used to battle each other on ideas. Then they started commandeering the institutions and that allowed them to be complacent and with that complacency the fringe radicals overtook them. Then the institutions started to be fractured and Oz was exposed. That’s how I see where we are currently and how I would explain it to someone genuinely interested in knowing what was the current state of affairs.

Also, the Party is being run by women, blacks and gays. Whatever those demographics like becomes policy regardless of whether it is consistent with other issues.
