This idea that I have apples to sell and I think they are worth 50 cents and you think they are worth 40 being somehow fraudulent is childish and ignorant Marxism playbook BS.

Appraisals are tools of the banking industry but they are also good at protecting consumers who might not know the markets
I know there isn't a comparison for deals as big as the ones Trump does but for a SFH buyer they are needed.

This isn’t about her valuing a property and being wrong, inflating it, etc.
This is about her certifying to a bank that she was going to use the home as a second residence for herself when she was actually going to rent it out to third parties as an investment property.
Those two things are fundamentally different.

Isn't 4 the cutoff for a residential mortgage too? And anything 5+ requires commercial loans that are underwritten differently.

Well, to be fair, all of the AirBNBros have done exactly what Tish did. In fact, some even sold courses to others, telling them how to do i,t and mortgage fraud is the main component of their course on how to obtain properties or "doors" as they call it.
