Not sure I’ve seen an NFL QB go from really good to washed as quickly as Russell Wilson.

His downward spiral is one for the ages.

He is only 36 and was traded to Denver 4 years ago so still was only 32 years old and he has been absolutely awful since.

Maybe Pete Carrol’s system or Legion of Boom disguised this guy but wow.

Needs to retire as soon as possible.

Peyton Manning.

ETA: Apparently very few of you remember how amazing he was in 2012 and 2013 (league MVP) to benched for Brock Osweiler in 2015.

His game was built off of being pretty athletic and making off platform throws.

Once some injuries and Father Time caught up, that was the end of it for him.

He’s always been limited with his size but made up for it with his athleticism and throwing an elite deep ball. He lost his athleticism and never was good at seeing the middle of the field.

But he isn’t even close on throws.

Nussmeier has the Russel Wilson syndrome right now.

I feel like Hurts is going to see a similar crash. He’s more reliant on athleticism and a worse passer than Wilson was.

I feel like this used to be ancient in QB years, but now people are able to play so much longer.

Patrick Mahomes tailspin the last 3 years has been insane. He went from Goat contender to 19th best QB in the league overnight.

I think an aging Kelce and no real play makers after Tyreek left hurt Mahomes a ton.

Love him or hate him, he seems fine managing the game with a great defense if it means winning and competing for titles.

He was never anything other than a game manager with an Elite cast around him in Seattle.

This should surprise no one, if anything he held Seattle back.

Lmao some of yall are ridiculous.

4 seasons of 4,000+ yards another at 3,983. 5 seasons of at least 30 TD passes while also averaging another 5 rushing and 500 rushing a year. 7 seasons with an over 100 rating.

He was nasty as hell.

They’ve consistently had multiple WRs miss multiple games each year the last 4 seasons too.

And look how he did in September and October compared to how he did in November and December. He would come out hot and fade every year, especially on the road.

Post that 2nd SB they weren’t elite anymore. Marshawn played in 7 more games. The run game was non-existent. I don’t know how you’re going to call Wilson a game manager when he was the team’s leading rusher one year? Also the LOB fell apart real quick to the point their defense was nothing special anymore

The Seahawks routinely had a bottom 3 OL too.

Mark Rypein was pretty damn good, considering the era, from 1989-1991. Finished ‘91 on top of the world. Turned 30 in ‘92 and it all came tumbling down.

Marc Bulger came on pretty hot his first 5-6 seasons taking over for Warner, then all downhill when he hit 30. Granted, he had a system and weapons, but still.
